Training on Statistics and Probability for K-12 Teachers

Consistent with the advocacy of helping teachers of Statistics become better prepared to teach the subject in the K-12 program, the Philippine Statistical Association, Inc. (PSAI) in coordination with the UP School of Statistics Diliman is pleased to announce the course offering Statistics and Probability for K-12 Teachers. The course focuses on the different topics in Statistics and Probability incorporated in the K-12 curriculum. It will highlight on techniques to comprehend and appreciate the different statistical tools covering both descriptive and inferential statistics. It will run as noted below:

The course aims to equip the participants with a better understanding and appreciation of various statistical tools in descriptive and inferential statistics, and how to teach the statistical methodologies effectively.

As a form of service, PSAI institutional members in good standing are entitled to send one participant per year in one of the modules free of charge and additional participant/s will be charged the corresponding registration fee accordingly. Registration fee includes cost of training materials, lunch and morning/afternoon snacks, class picture, and certificate of completion. Due to limited slots available, please note that acceptance will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
