Call for Expressions of Interest on the Conduct of Qualitative and Quantitative Evaluation of the Contribution of BEST Activities to Higher Level Program Outcomes

Cardno, through the Basic Education Sector Transformation (BEST) Program, is seeking expressions of interest from experienced professionals (individuals and companies) on the Conduct of Qualitative and Quantitative Evaluation of the Contribution of BEST Activities to Higher Level Program Outcomes.

BEST is a partnership between the Governments of the Philippines and Australia. The goal is for girls and boys to have the competencies and skills to make an increased contribution to economic growth and stability in the Philippines. BEST objectives will contribute to improved quality of education outcomes in the Philippines; more equitable access of all people at all levels of education in the Philippines; and better education governance.

BEST works closely with the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) and its implementing partners to improve the quality of teachers, curriculum and assessment, learning materials and education facilities; and to strengthen DepEd's capacity to improve quality, effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery.

Expressions of Interest for the conduct of qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the contribution to higher level program outcomes of activities in the following areas are required:

  • Pre-service teacher development
  • In-service teacher development
  • Educational leadership and management
  • Curriculum and assessment
  • Gender equity, disability, and social inclusion
  • Policy, planning and evidence-based decision making
  • Unified Information System
  • Human resource and organisational development.
